Does "MOS BURGER" aim at "slow foods" restaurant?

We went to Mos Burger in Roppongi for getting special burger, "Takumi(Cheese) Burger".

(Poster of "Takumi" Burger)

The number of shop in which Takumi Burger is served is limited. Actually there is no Mos shops in Shibuya-ku area to serve that Burger.

Mos starts to sell Takumi Burger/Takumi Cheese Burger from 14:00. Only 10 pieces are available a day. We arrived Roppongi around 13:50 and made the line:-p

Mos is likely to aim at "slow foods restarant", I think. Mos serves Beef-Stew at night.

By the way, "Takumi" costs relatively expensive, i.e. Takumi Burger Yen580(excl.tax), Takumi Cheeze Burger Yen640(ditto). Moreover, we have to wait for ca.7 min. until delivery.

When I gave my impression to my husband for the special burger, he suggested not to compare Mos with McDonald's but KUA 'AINA(Hawaian Burger Shop)....
(I do not agree with him. KUA 'AINA is different from so-called first food shop...)

The major particularity of Takumi Burger are quality and size.

(from left: "Takumi" Burger, "Takumi" Cheese Burger, "Meishi")

- Hamburger Steak(Pate) is almost same size with "quarter pounds" with McDonalds'. Mos uses Australian Beef.

- Buns(Pan) is not too sweet. Getting our teeth into Buns, we understand combination between Pate and Buns is good.

- Soy based Sauce

- Only persons of skill who are good at cooking are selected to prepare Takumi Burger. ("Meishi" is also delivered with burgers, so that we know who cooked our Takumi burger.)

It was tasty with black pepper and solt. Compared wth Special Mac(McDonald's released "Special Mac" in the past), "Takumi" is much tasty, but costs almost double...

However, I trust my own Burger is best:-) Even though Mos says its pate is juicy, the gravy of Pate is not enough for me.

Incidentally, "specialty coffee"(@230) was nice. According to the staff at Mos, coffee beans is different from "coffee"(@180). Specialty coffee tasted not too bitter and sourness. It may be better to have it without milk and suger.

Off course, the taste is depending on you, but, why not try "Takumi" once?
