China has a long, long history.

Marsupial animals like Koaka, Kangaroo, Wambat are in only Australia now. But long, long, time ago, they had lived in China! (source: Kyodo News on Yahoo, Japanese only)

The forerunner of marsupial animal fossile was found in China, according to Kyodo News(reference " Science").

"Sience", US magazine as of December 12, 2003 issue is likely to raise the release about it.
The fossile was found in ca.125 mio year-old (!!) stratum in Liaoning, China.
The fossile size: length to the end of tail ... ca. 15cm, weight ca. 30g.

During the long history in China, a lot of mystery should be hidden...
