Motherland Academy International

I donate clothings, bags, or shoes to children in Africa via Motherland Academy International(Japanese only) a few times per year. I was introduced this NGO by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Motherland Academy International(NGO) was established in 1982 among housewives who had worried about their children's school bullying. They finally came to the answer, " Why not change ourselves!". That was the start for this NGO's activity.

The housewives started to work as unpaid volunteers. Their words are, "Do housework and child-rearing before breakfast. Moaning or napping should be done after being dead."

They raise the fund through 3 "NOT" activity, i.e. " Not purchase furnitures, Not travel, Not buy clothings".

It passed more than 20years since they started the volunteer. They are actually "hard-core".

I really respect them as I think I cannot do like them. "Live and let live."
I would like to see how their children grew up and became adults. Children always see their mothers' way.

In his errors a man is true to type. Observe the errors and you will know the man.
