After the Kabuki at Asakusa Theater, I walked down in Asakusa with Mitsuhiro.

LunchYoshikami
We had a late lunch at restaurant Yoshikami. We had to made a long, long line...
Yoshikami looks popular restaurant in Asakusa. Actually, we waited for ca. 45min.(outside of the restaurant) and 30min(inside of the restaurant)!! I held back my hunger:-p
We had beef stews and baked rolls, respectively and shared fried oyster. Beef stews was rich taste while fried oyster with squeeze of lemon was relatively plain.
Real boxwood comb : Yonoya Comb Shop
I wanted to buy boxwood comb so far. As there was a comb shop along Denpoin Street, we called over there. We did not know the shop was quite famous in Asakusa. With internet research, we knew the shop established in 1717(Edo Era). TV programalso played up it...
Stained red bean with millet cake(Awa Zenzai): Umezono
Umezono is also well-known shop and old-established one. Awa Zenzai was really sweet and it tasted like warm bean cake.
("Umezono" / Awazenzai with zanthoxyli fructus)
Nakamise Street:
We purchased a pair of chop sticks made of a tree of diospyros"Asakusa Takeya".
Senso Temple(Sensoji) & five-story pagoda :
It's been a while since I went to shrines to make wishes for the coming year... Mitsuhiro and I made wishes for the year 2004 at Sensoji.
People believe that every parts would be better with smoke of incense in front of Sensoji's main gate. For instance, if someone would like to be smart, he/she takes smoke of incense on his/her head:-)
I let Mitsuhiro take smoke on his head, face and heart:-p Off course, I took smoke on same parts:-)
Today was Mitsuhiro's birthday. He looked to enjoy walking in Asakusa:-)
