Pre-White Day

So-called "White Day", March 14 becomes facmous for Japanese mens as they are expected to give in return a present for chocolate on Valentine Day(February 14). As the White Day is on Sunday this year, I was returned a favor from my colleagues on Friday, March 12. Inside of this cute wrapping is a red tea of "MARINA DE BOURBON." Mitsuhiro asked me if I had asked for it return!
Not at all!! This is real favor from a colleague!

Uh, this is not a red tea but cookies:-p

Konpira-Kabuki

We are going to go Kotohira, Kagawa Prefecture(Shikoku Island) in April for seeing so-called "Konpira Kabuki".

Final Declaration - Kakutei Shinkoku

I applied for the final income tax return at the Shbuya tax office today. From this year, tax office opens twice on Sunday. Today was the first one. I expected to be crowded there because of the people to apply a loss from sale their stocks.

I arrived at the tax office around 8:45 a.m. though I had planned to be there at 8:30 a.m....however, I was lucky! My number at the reception desk was "005". Only 4 people are in front of me!!

9 years

It passed 9 years from terrible earthquake in Kobe. I live with it... but truely speaking, still am not ready to face that experience. In fact, it is harf for me to watch the TV news or special program which covers that quake still now.

However, after getting married with Mitsuhiro, I feel something change. I am not alone... I really thank him to be with me on January 17 from now on.

The origin of "Bean-Throwing Festival"

February 3rd, the day before the calendric beginning of spring, is famous for bean-throwing festival, named "Setsubun". Why do people throw beans? I found the answer from the book about "Shinto".

After the Kabuki at Asakusa Theater, I walked down in Asakusa with Mitsuhiro.

Homecoming(Jan 1-2)

Mitsuhiro and I went each home to celebrate the New Year with our family. We returned home after half-year's absence(last time was during Obon festival).

Rescue Diver Program

I participated RED program during the weekend(December 27-28, 2003) at Ohsezaki, Izu. RED program aims at "self-rescue" mainly, i.e. it encourages every divers to avoid accidents assertively.

I went to Yokohama Zoological Gardens named ZOORASIA, in Kanagawa Pref. with my husband. It was sunny and everyone looks to enjoy. Animals also feel easy and have a nap:-)

I donate clothings, bags, or shoes to children in Africa via Motherland Academy International(Japanese only) a few times per year. I was introduced this NGO by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

I love it! (I found it at 100yen shop in Hatagaya.) I had too much pot of Chige with husband tonight... that's why I am doing "reflexology"now:-p

Today we purchased several Christmas Cards at Ito-ya in Ginza for sending them to our friends/acquaintances in abroad.
